    Philosophy:

As a doctor, retired law enforcement officer, and martial artist; it is Dr. Bannon’s greatest desire to empower people to survive and live without excessive fear; to become healthier, and to feel more confident in their abilities. He does this by restoring back to both the medical and survival arts, the true and original intent; the "family & temple secrets" that were passed on to him; the true essence; original philosophical meanings; as well as the "spiritually" and "medically based" combat applications of the martial arts as were written in the ancient and original documents known as the Bubishi; the Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine; the Bible; the Silk Book; and the I – Ching (Law of Changes) that have been lost and hidden throughout the course of history; cultural segregation and passage of time. Dr. Bannon has been an innovator over the years in combining ancient Shaolin Wisdom with Modern Medical Science; which breeds a “New Age – Old Age” perspective of the martial arts. If an ancient fighting or healing art or technique has a current application to either healing or combat, then we keep it, study it, explain it and improve on it if possible. If it does not; then we accept it, respect it and honor it for its place in history, learn from it, and leave it as "information only" in the historical archives of either martial or healing artistic knowledge.

As a Police Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Counselor and Debreifer, he is an authority on the subject of Physio-Psychology and The Role of the Human Brain in Physical Combat, which led to his development of:

    • "Martial Arts for the Mind." ™
    • "Martial Medicine." ™
    • "Brain Fighting." ™
